Just felt like drawing this insignificant scene. Dunno why, but it took me over half the day... Yes I am silly like that.

A scene from what, you might ask? Well, recently I obtained a DVD box of a certain Polish TV series, with English subtitles...
And yes, if you aren't looking forward to your inbox being spammed by drawings of this series, be very much afraid, my dear watchers.

Nah, it won't be that bad. I think.

Anyway. This very insignificant scene takes place at the start of the 7th episode (the title of which is the same as the lazy title I gave this 'deviation'), in which our lovely Red Army girl hitches a ride with some Soviet Air Force guys, separating from our young hero the Polish dude who shoots Tigers and has a dog (not in the picture).
The truck of the pilots appears to be (after a quick google search) a Studebaker US6, which was an US army truck shipped to the USSR in the lend-lease stuff and which was well liked by the Russians.
I identified the plane as being an IL-2 'Sturmovik' ground-attack bomber. With its wings taken off, obviously.
But who cares, the proportions are all over the place anyway.

I wouldn't call it insignificant, if no one works on the planes, they don't fly.
The Il-2 Shturmovik was the finest attack aircraft of it's day. The whole plane was built around an armored cockpit and was notoriously difficult to shoot down.
...I might have to draw one now...
What this show called?
